Ancient Brythen Warrior: Circa 50 B.C.E.
I recently received the Ignite Julius Caesar. When I opened it up, there were several pieces of Celtic or British gear inside, including a helmet
a shield, and a sword. Well, of course that meant I had to make a Brythen warrior. I had the perfect barbarian, the 21st C Villain Mercenary figure,
but how to dress him? I know some of these guys used to fight naked, but I think that trying to do an accurate naked warrior would be a little overboard. With that
in mind, I had a tartan smock from another Roman which would do (it really should have been trousers). I will be making leather shoes later.
I presume something like the traditional Scottish ghillies brogue will be relatively accurate.
